Learning Cubed is a family run indie app developer devoted to handcrafting educational children's games for the iPhone and iPod touch®. Learning Cubed is founded by Roy and Rachel Selig, a husband and wife creative team. The start-up combines their love of technology and learning to produce educational iPhone apps for children. They have a willing audience in their son, a curious four year old. They hope what they dream up for him will also capture your child's imagination.
Roy has been designing and coding web applications for fifteen years. By day he works for a large enterprise software company. By night, when it's not his turn to put their son to bed, he builds iPhone apps.
Rachel is an experienced educator. She teaches sixth grade reading and writing in New Jersey public schools. In her classroom she places special emphasis on teaching to multiple intelligences. She thinks the iPhone's touch screen technology has great potential to enhance learning. A devoted mom, she is also responsible for reminding Roy to get some sleep occasionally.
Their son has been the family's chief rock and leaf collector since he turned two. He loves his mom and dad's iPhones. He also loves words, especially his current favorite word, chocolate.
